AllSaints Ikuya Clutch – Review

Happy Friday! I want to introduce you guys to my new crossbody bag – the AllSaints Ikuya clutch! I got it as a gift to myself for a successful first month at work, and figured I’d review it today in case any of you are interested. I saw it when I was at Nordstrom, perusing the mid range designer crossbody bags, and it was love at first sight! When you know, you just know 😉

Firstly, the black leather is stunning against the silver chain and rivet details on the smaller strap. Its edgy yet classic vibe aligns well with my style. I love the size – it’s the perfect bag to store just the essentials. I also think that it’s convenient as a clutch, I tested it one night without the long chain strap and it worked great! The only thing I’m confused about is if the rivet strap should go on the outside or the way I have it here – inside. If it’s on the outside, it shows better but is inconvenient when I open the flap. Overall, the Ikuya clutch is beautifully made and well worth the price. I’ve heard great things about the durability of AllSaints leather pieces so I’m looking forward to having this beauty for years to come!

I wore this exact outfit a year ago, just with different shoes – on a day I look back on with fond memories. So I thought I’d recreate it today! After all, a classic LBD and sleeveless duster coat silhouette never goes out of style. I love playing with different lengths and I think the cap sleeves peeking from under the sleeveless coat add a nice detail. I paired them with my comfy platform mules and go-to sunnies (that I repurchased after losing them on the beach in Mexico ugh). I hope you enjoy your weekend 🙂

  1. Happy 2 monthaversary on the blog! The outfit is better completed I think with the mules you have on in this shoot rather than the boots from a year ago. Also, the black leather looks better with the outfit. Happy Maha Shivaratri.

  2. Oh my goodness! Amazing article dude! Thank you, However I am encountering troubles with your RSS. I don’t know the reason why I can’t subscribe to it. Is there anybody else getting the same RSS problems? Anyone that knows the answer can you kindly respond? Thanks!!

    1. Thank you! I currently have the option to subscribe through Bloglovin’ but I’m working on updating my website design and adding a new subscribe feature this month, so be on the lookout for that!

  3. Hi! I totally love this bag — but am wondering if your hair gets caught in the chain? I have long hair as well and it was an issue with my Alexander Wang Brenda unfortunately. The silver hardware makes it look so edgy!
